First time visit for lunch and it was a great experience. The menu is full of a variety of options that all sound delicious. Great neighborhood spot. I was very happy with the service as well.

my boyfriend and i went here the other day for a date night and i will confidently say we will be back! we sat outside and the patio was very beautiful. most of the menu is prepared gluten free which is amazing as someone with an intolerance. the servers were very attentive and the food was delicious, i had the chicken tortilla soup to start and the chicken burrata which were both fantastic. my boyfriend has the tri-color pasta dish which he also really enjoyed trust we will be back. drinks were also very well prepared and they offered shots of tequila on the house!

179 Bar & Grill was a great find in New Rochelle. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place for a casual dinner while still feeling a little elevated. The food was excellent from start to finish. The calamari appetizer was easily one of the highlights of the meal; crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The pasta and steak were both delicious and clearly made with quality ingredients. The drinks were just as impressive. The espresso martini was fantastic and paired perfectly with dessert. We finished with the churros and the apple crumb cake, both of which were excellent. The apple crumb cake especially surprised me with its texture, but in the best way possible. It was warm, comforting, and a great way to end the meal. The restaurant wasn't overly busy during my visit, so the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly without ever feeling overbearing. The service made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, 179 Bar & Grill offers great food, excellent cocktails, wonderful desserts, and genuinely welcoming service. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in New Rochelle.

Went to 179 Bar & Grill again for Mother’s Day brunch and honestly this place has become a tradition for my family. We’ve celebrated my mom’s birthday here twice now, and every experience has been consistently good. I have to talk about the burrata chicken sandwich (I actually order it without the burrata because I’m lactose intolerant) — the chicken is always juicy, thick, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I’m not even exaggerating when I say I randomly crave this sandwich way too often. It’s THAT good This visit we also tried the calamari and the Thai chili bites special, and both were delicious. The Thai chili bites especially had the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and crispy. The staff is always kind, attentive, and accommodating, which honestly makes such a difference during busy brunch hours. The only thing I’d mention is that the space can feel a little narrow/tight for parties larger than 4, especially during brunch rushes — but the atmosphere and service still make it worth it every time. Definitely one of my favorite brunch spots in New Rochelle!

I’ve passed by this restaurant so many times while doing returns at UPS, and I finally decided to give it a try yesterday.I’m so glad I did. I was really satisfied. The food was fresh and made to order, and I loved the variety on the menu, from the raw bar to the hand-crafted items. The drinks were amazing too. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and they made sure I had great service the entire time. Even at the end, while I was paying, they gave me a shot of tequila which was hilarious and it really showed how much they care about building a connection with their customers. Omg I knew they were going to be my place when I saw they had a butter toffee dessert. I have been trying to look for that in New York after having that type of dish in Miami and to find it here and it was so delicious.. 10/10 place. This is definitely going to be my new go-to spot in New Rochelle. Hope they keep it up!
